Bio I am a direct action worker, complex systems analyst, and public philosopher. My research interests and instructional expertise continuously diversify. However, they simultaneously converge on a fixed point: my compulsion to discern the root causes of systems of oppression and liberation. My ambition (professional and otherwise) is to alleviate the negative impact to others of circumstances of poverty, violence, inequality, and oppression, while raising public awareness about their root causes. I currently serve on executive leadership teams for the global Philosophy of the City Research Group and our local Tallahassee Time Bank grassroots organization. I also serve as an undergraduate adviser to students enrolled in our philosophy program.
