About
The bulk of my research falls into two broad areas—that of moral psychology and the philosophy of action. My main interests revolve around understanding agential control and the degree to which we are morally responsible for our actions. These interests manifest in my exploration of transformative experiences, situationism, intentional action, self-control, addiction, determinism, and how they relate to our agency.
I also have a strong interest in applied ethics, specifically in our obligations to non-human animals and our responsibility and blameworthiness for harm directed at non-human animals as well as other moral patients. As an avid photographer, I have a theoretical interest in photography from aesthetic and ethical perspectives.
