Zina Ward's research focuses on philosophy of cognitive science and general philosophy of science. Ward is currently developing a book project defending a cluster theory of natural kinds. She also has recent publications and works-in-progress on neural representation, scientific explanation, the epistemology of machine learning and values in science.
